Brussels boasts more than 100 museums and other attractions include the Music & Light Show at the Grote Markt, Bruparck, Toone Theater, the Belgian Comic Strip Center, the Ommegang and the Flower Carpet among others.
“City of Beer” is also famous for chocolate (try a choux pastry with a cream & vanilla custard filling and dark chocolate icing from Wittamer and visit Neuhaus among luxurious shops at the St. Hubert Gallery). Other musts are “fritures with mayonnaise” from more than 4000 frietkots in the city or at Antoine’s and “Mussels in Brussels”, a national dish – Chez Leon is recommended.
